The Omega Speedmaster Moonphase “Blue Side of the Moon” Ref. 304.93.44.52.03.001 is a striking ceramic chronograph combining the iconic Speedmaster design with an advanced moonphase complication and Omega’s modern Master Chronometer movement technology.

Its blue ceramic dial features applied 18K white gold indexes and hands, chronograph displays, small seconds, a pointer date, and an intricate moonphase indicator at 6 o’clock.

The moonphase disc depicts the near and far sides of the moon in exceptional detail, giving the watch its distinctive celestial character while maintaining the recognizable layout of the Speedmaster collection.

At its heart is the automatic Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9904, a METAS-certified chronograph movement offering approximately 60 hours of power reserve. The movement features a Co-Axial escapement, column-wheel chronograph mechanism, silicon balance spring, and resistance to magnetic fields reaching 15,000 gauss.

The substantial 44.25mm blue ceramic case provides a distinctive presence on the wrist and is paired with a matching blue ceramic bezel featuring a Liquidmetal™ tachymeter scale. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the sapphire exhibition caseback provides a clear view of the finely finished Calibre 9904 movement.

The watch is fitted on its original blue leather strap and secured by a blue ceramic and ceramised titanium foldover clasp, completing the monochromatic blue appearance of the “Blue Side of the Moon.”

This 2020 example is presented in very good condition, showing light signs of careful wear, and comes as a full set with its original box and papers.
